Bible Lesson 255

SIN.

1ST JOHN 3:6

Whoever abideth in Him (Jesus), does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

“One reason that sin flourishes is that it is treated like a cream puff instead of a rattlesnake!” Billy Sunday.

This month we will be dealing with something that is as old as the world that we live in. Something that has caused us to be limited in age, and cripple, blind, and forced to work very hard to survive in God’s Creation. Sin is the cause of every one of our problems, yet, we are prone to sin every day and in every way. We always attempt to make what we do when we sin something innocent but we know that we are doing something that is detrimental to our health and well being. We turn out to be our worst enemy, as we go about every day denying the fact that we are on the slide into hell fire for all eternity.

What do you think about the way your have lived your life up to the present moment? Are you satisfied, and do you think your Creator is happy with you? What about your attempt to know this Creator God who spoke everything we know about into being. The God who hates sin to the extent that He sent His only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, who is God in the flesh, to a cross that you, and I  deserved; where he suffered, bled and died as He suffered for sin He did not commit. He had no sin, so the sin He died for was to save those who would believe and obey Him.

Until next time,

may God bless and keep you
